Music ministry

​

The music ministry of Our Lady of Pompei serves to spread the Word of God through the gift of music.  We are always seeking new members for our choir.  

Our choir sings at the Sunday 9:30AM Mass and on Holy Days.    Rehearsals are on Wednesday at 7PM.   

Decorating

​This Ministry helps enhance the awareness of liturgical seasons throughout the year.  This ministry is an opportunity to display a wide variety of personal talents while giving glory to God.  Decorating the church is a great opportunity to work closely with others and build a strong sense of community.

Ministry of Hospitality

​

​Ministers of Hospitality have the special responsibility to make people feel welcome and comfortable in our Parish Community.  Those who choose this ministry also will assist with the offering and the presentation of gifts

Liturgical ministries

LECTOR

​

​Lectors proclaims and shares the Scriptures with the Faith Community during the Liturgy.  In addition, lectors will lead the parish in the Prayers of the Faithful

ALTER SERVERS

This ministry involves the younger members of our Faith Community.  We encourage parents or guardians to inform their children about this opportunity  and support them in the ministry.  

Open to boys and girls:

Who participate in the Liturgy,

Who have already received First Eucharist,

Who and are at least 9 years of age

EUCHARISTIC MINISTER

Be part of the Liturgy, assisting the celebrant and the community, by administering the Body of Blood of the Christ during the Liturgy or to parish members who are unable to be present in the church.
